About Dr. Marcy & Why This Matters

Hi. I’m Dr. Marcy Crouch—Board Certified Women’s Health Physical Therapist, mom of two, TEDx speaker, press-quoted birth nerd, and your internet BFF when it comes to all things down there.

I created The Down There Doc because I was tired of seeing women stumble through pregnancy and postpartum like it was a secret hazing ritual.

Peeing yourself isn’t a punchline. Pain with sex isn’t “just part of it.” And tearing your pelvic floor shouldn’t mean you’re left to Google your way through recovery at 2 a.m. while nursing and crying into a stale granola bar.

Over the past 15+ years, I’ve helped thousands of women push smarter, heal faster, and feel strong again—physically, emotionally, and yes, even sexually. My online programs are built on years of clinical experience, actual science (not TikTok myths), and real, proven results. I also see patients in person at Auburn Women’s PT and Wellness in Auburn, AL, where I provide hands-on care for pregnancy, postpartum, and pelvic floor conditions.

They’ve been featured in press outlets like Today, Parents, Scary Mommy, and more. And my upcoming book will be the one you dog-ear, cry over, and gift at every baby shower. (TBD for release date in 2026!)

Here’s the thing: I believe every mom deserves access to this kind of care—regardless of where she lives, how many babies she’s had, or what’s in her bank account. That’s why, as we gear up for a massive content refresh and relaunch this fall, I’m opening the doors to everything with a Pay What You Can campaign.

No catch. No gatekeeping. Just expert-level support, real talk, and zero shame.

Stick around to meet the team that’s backing this movement with brains, heart, and the kind of support every mom actually needs.

This isn’t just expert care—it’s a full-on community of badass women rewriting the rules of postpartum recovery. Scroll through the photos, peek behind the scenes, and see why moms everywhere are whispering, “Where has this been my whole life

Because birth doesn’t break you. It builds you—and I’m here to help you rebuild better.

Spoiler: You don’t want to miss what’s coming next.
